For thoes clinets looking for a little more server in their server, check out these plans. These are very stable, very customizeable, and very powerfull. We find that even small clients prefer these plans as there are rarely if ever problems.

All plans include tech support via email and phone 6. Servers are based in San Francisco CA USA. We have just made arrangements with a datacenter in Dublin Ireland. If you are interested in those plans please let us know. We have only dedicated available, but we have 10MB unmetered servers available.

Semi Dedicated

Our semi ded servers have never gone down since we put them up. 6 months of 100% uptime. There will only be 2-6 people on each. Includes free cPanel & WHM These are ideal for anyone runing a website that can not sustain outages, or if you have a large forum that needs a little bit of extra cpu. These are for one cpanel only. No resellers on semi ded. This is so we do not have lots of users on the same box. No plans are oversold, meaning, when we say you recieve this much hard drive space, we reserve that space for you. No overcrowded servers.

Dedicated

Dedicated boxes will be the same specs unless you have a custom request. we build for you. This includes cpanel (bsd only) and root access. The way these packages work is you rent the server, then you pay for the bandwidth. All plans come with 1Mbit free per month (~300GB transfer).

FAQ

  • Can I use these plans for just file backup?
    • Yes. All semi dedicated and dedicated plans allow freedom to do what you want.

  • Can I install things like ventrilo or a game server?
    • With semi dedicated no. But you can request certain things to be instaled. With dedicated you get the box. We do not have the password unless you want us to have it to fix things for you (remember all open source software is installed free.)

  • I don't really like your plans. Can I mix and match what I want and get a custom plan?
    • Of course. WIth dedicated you will almost always get what you want. With semi dedicated we will work as much as posible and usualy have come to a good conclusion.

  • Can I pay more up front to recieve a discount?
    • Yes. 6 months up front recieved a 4% discount and 1 year upfront recieved a 6% discount (price applies to per month cost not bandwidth prices.)

  • I don't understand the bandwidth transfer stuff very well. Can you explain it a little more?
    • Take a large forum with about 10-20 hits per second. This is ALOT of hits and there are only a few hundred forums like this arround. This, per month, would be arround 30-35GB of transfer per month.

  • On the semi dedicated plans, some of them will only let me transfer everything that is on the account 5 times. What gives?
    • This is actually us giving you alot more disk space than you need. Most people will never use 1GB of space. But some people use our services as file backup services. This allows all clients to recieve the benefits of that.

  • What do I get to admin the servers?
    • We recommend cpanel. We will provide licenses free of charge for freeBSD boxes only. All others will require either you purchasing it or an additional payment to us ($35/month).

  • cPanel is ugly! How can I change that?
    • CP Skins has a good selection. You may be interested in thoes.

  • What operating systems can I put on the dedicated boxes?
    • Anything you want. We will install it for you. If it is freeBSD, we will install programs and help you set it up for free.

  • I want a dedicated box with mosthly bandwidth usage. How much would you charge in bulk?
    • High bandwidth servers will be caped at 100Mbps per server, unless there is a special need. Price for bandwidth will be $60/Mb. Contact us for a specific quote.

  • What happens if i go way over my normal usage?
    • We have several brackets of bandwidth packages. If you are on a 1Mb package, and use 50Mb of bw, you will pay the 50Mb price which is much cheaper.
